Keep Kamogawa river clean!

December 7, 2010

“Let’s leave a clean river for the children” is written on this sign located near a playground at Kamogawa river and on another sign next to it, it is said that there might be a fine for dumping garbage in the river. But that doesn’t seem to bother some people because you can find a lot of garbage in the river and on its sides. Looking at what you can find it seems that bicycles are most likely to find their grave in the river, but small bikes, electronic devices and any other trash can be found, too.

This is what I could spot on a walk from Takeda Koen upstream:

This bike must have been dumped long before and is already turning into a shelter for these tiny fish.

Bicycle No. 1

No garbage, but cute! 😀

Bicycle No. 2

DVD-Player?

Bicycle No. 3 and other trash make a nice podium for this bird.

Bicycle No. 4 under a bridge.

Bicycle No. 5 not far away.

Another bike…

…and a guy burning something at the river.

Someone attached this bunny to a pole. Looks like it wants to go home to the moon 🙂
